  1. I would like to nominate my husband Mr Riaz Ali. Four years ago he did the greatest thing ever just to bring additional joy into our life. After many years of trying to conceive a child we had no luck. On June 5th 2010 the day of my birthday I was not at home and he received a phone call from a lady at the Freeport ophange where we normally carry toys etc for the kids. She informed him of a little girl in the hospital who was abuse by her mom by being burn about the body with a cigarette. She was 2 and a half years old. Just by hearing her story he agreed to take her and then he informed me which made me overwhelmed. One week after we saw her she was such a doll. One month after she came to live with us and one year after she became ours legally by the court. It’s been four years now and she is such a blessing in our life. Her name is Anisa Mohammed. Thanks for taking the time to read my story. ‪#‎thealeseawards‬

Hello I would like to nominate Ahsrama Agui (aka GiGi) for the award on behalf of Eric Blackshorts. She’s the KUFTA winner for 2013 and I know she’s an inspiration to other existing and potential KVTV presenters. She also provides an incredible amount of support and strength to the organiser of the station.
